Bus Services through Worth Village
Worth Parish Council is very aware of the recent announcement, from our point of view in the past 48 hours, from Stagecoach and to a certain degree Kent County Council, that non-school buses through Worth Village will be withdrawn in November. In effect no bus service for residents of Worth village.
In the briefings circulated by KCC to the Council, this serious impact on Worth residents was not made clear, not open nor transparent. We were not consulted and now are looking at ways to try to rectify this matter. We will be discussing, as a matter of urgency, with our Dover District Council and Kent County Council representatives – Councillors Chandler, Manion and Kenton.
